Bad Boys 4 has been officially announced by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have revealed the title of their upcoming film, “Bad Boys 4.” They made the announcement for the movie via a video posted on social media with a caption, “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”

According to Variety, Both Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have been confirmed to return to the unnamed sequel in the role of director. The script is currently being worked on by Chris Bremner.

The directors of ‘Bad Boys for Life,’ who also worked on Warner Bros.’ delayed ‘Batgirl’ picture, oversaw the film in 2020, which reunited Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in their roles as Miami-Dade cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. The original ‘Bad Boys’ film was released in 1992.

According to fresh claims from Variety, shortly after the third instalment of the “Bad Boys” franchise was released in theatres, Sony announced that production had begun on a fourth instalment of the film franchise.
With a worldwide revenue of USD 426.5 million, the third instalment of the film ‘Bad Boys for Life’ became one of the most successful blockbusters during the time before the pandemic.

In comparison, the first “Bad Boys” film made 141 million dollars while the sequel “Bad Boys II” made 273 million dollars worldwide in 2003. However, “Bad Boys for Life” was able to achieve a higher level of success than both of the previous instalments combined.

Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Smith), two hip detectives who look to protect a witness to a murder while investigating a case of stolen heroin from the evidence storage room of their police precinct, were presented to viewers for the first time in the original Bad Boys film, which was directed by Michael Bay. Smith and Lawrence both starred in the film.
