Date Set for HBO Premiere of Shaunak Sen’s Oscar-Nominated Documentary “All That Breathes”

In the Documentary Feature Film category, the 95th Academy Awards will honour All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, Fire of Love, A House Made of Splinters, and Navalny. Another contender for the top prize is the Hindi-language documentary All That Breathes.

All That Breathes, the Academy Award-nominated documentary from director-producer Shaunak Sen (Cities of Sleep), will premiere on HBO on February 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, and will also be available to watch on HBO Max.

All That Breathes is a documentary that emphasises the value of human-animal cooperation. Brothers Nadeem and Mohammad have established a makeshift avian basement hospital to care for the city’s rapidly dwindling bird of prey, the black kite.

With rising environmental toxicity and societal instability, the two fight tirelessly to save the injured birds and return them to the sky, according to the description. Their mission is critical since the creatures are vital to the environment in New Delhi, India.

The teaser shows the gorgeous birds, the brothers’ little but powerful setup, and a peek of the environmental degradation and societal instability that affects everyone’s surroundings.
