‘Goodfellas’ Star Ray Liotta Dies at the Age of 67

Ray Liotta, an American actor, and producer passed away at the age of 67. He is most known for playing a major role in the critically acclaimed gangster movie Goodfellas, which was directed by Martin Scorsese. The information was verified by his agent Jennifer Craig of Gersh, who spoke with The Hollywood Reporter.

He co-starred in the picture with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, which is largely regarded as one of the finest films of the twentieth century. Despite the prior success, Liotta’s breakthrough role came in 1990, when he was hired as real-life mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s crime classic.

His cause of death is unknown. Several celebrities have taken to social media to express their shock at his death and to offer their respects. According to Deadline, the actor died while filming his next thriller Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic.
