Samaritan, starring Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone, will launch on Prime Video on August 26. Javon “Wanna” Walton (Pilou Asbaek), Dascha Polanco (Dasha Polanco), and Moises Arias (Moiras Arias) also appear.
Cleary (Walton) believes his reclusive neighbor, Mr. Smith (Stallone), is truly a legend lurking in plain sight. It was twenty years ago when Samaritan, Granite City’s super-powered vigilante, was supposedly killed in a warehouse fight with his adversary, Nemesis.
“The majority of people think that Samaritan died in the fire, but others in the city, like Sam, believe that he is still alive.” A rising crime rate and a looming civil war put the city on the verge of destruction, so Sam sets out to persuade his neighbor out of hiding to preserve it.

Rocky, Rambo, and The Expendables star Sylvester Stallone said he was delighted that his next picture will be available on Prime Video.
In my opinion, action flicks with a human touch are the best. I wanted to be a part of Samaritan because this narrative has many levels that I believe people may identify with. In a statement, the 76-year-old actor remarked, “It’s a morality story that is also quite fascinating to see.”
Stallone and Braden Aftergood are the producers of Bragi F Schut’s Samaritan, the film’s script.
