The recent success of Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Sardar has provided Karthi with a boost of confidence. Sardar, on the other hand, earned over 75 crore rupees and just finished its 25th day of run over the weekend, while the previous film garnered around 480 crore rupees and is still playing in theaters.
