Netflix has confirmed the release of the Korean adaptation of the Spanish heist crime drama series of the same name “Money Heist“. The streaming giant confirmed Friday that “Money Heist: Korea — Joint Economic Area” will air on June 24, 2022.
The Netflix original Korean series, directed by Kim Hong-sun and written by Ryu Yong-jae, stars Yoo Ji-tae, Park Hae-soo, Jeon Jong-seo, Lee Won-jong, and Park Myung-hoon. BH Entertainment collaborated with Zium Content to produce this series.
The story takes place in a fictitious Joint Economic Area, in an open world in which the Korean Peninsula is on the verge of being reunited. The first part of the series consists of six episodes and will be released on June 24 this year.
