
The ‘RRR’ song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has won a Golden Globe, There was no winner in the category of Best Non-English Language Film.
RRR attended the Golden Globes, saw, and conquered. SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Naatu Naatu won Best Original Song, one of two categories in which it was nominated. It was beaten by Argentina in the Best Non-English Language Film category in 1985. Other candidates in the category include All Quiet on the Western Front (Germany), Close (Belgium), Decision to Leave, and The Last of the Mohicans (South Korea).

M.M. Keeravani created the song, and he also got the prize during the presentation in Los Angeles, California.
This is the first Asian film song to win a Golden Globe in this category. These awards are awarded to winners selected by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and are regarded second only to the Oscars in terms of prominence. The awards have lately been in the centre of substantial controversy, with claims that voting processes are manipulated to disadvantage women and people of colour.

RRR has already garnered a plethora of foreign accolades, including Best Director for Rajamouli at the New York Film Critics Circle awards. RRR has also applied for consideration in numerous Oscar categories and is anticipated to be nominated in at least one, if not more.
