On Monday, May 9, the creators of Avatar: The Way of Water finally posted the teaser video on YouTube. The film is scheduled to be released later this year. On April 27, the first footage from the long-awaited sequel was shown at the CinemaCon exposition in Las Vegas. And the full movie is scheduled to be released on
16 December 2022.

The teaser trailer provides viewers a preview of Pandora’s aesthetically breathtaking sceneries, with several scenes featuring the ocean or water. This time, though, they appear to be accompanied by a lot of shorter, cuter copies of themselves, who appear to be their offspring.

Directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, stars Zoe Saldana (Neytiri), Sam Worthington (Jake Sully), Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.
