The film’s first trailer, directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Rafe Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway, is included below.

Spider-Man actor Tom Holland makes his big-screen debut as Nathan Drake in Sony’s live-action version of the popular video game series Uncharted.

The Uncharted film was intended as a prequel to the games/origin tale for the globetrotting explorer, with Nathan bartending before embarking on a treasure hunt with Victor “Sully” Sullivan played by Mark Wahlberg.

Naughty Dog’s PlayStation game series, which launched in 2007 and has generated many sequels, served as the inspiration for Uncharted. The film’s journey to the big screen has been long and winding, including a number of filmmakers (including David O. Russell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon, Shawn Levy, and Dan Trachtenberg).
